4A Games has announced that in the near future they will release two updates for console versions of Metro: Exodus aimed to fix numerous bugs that players complained about right after the release. The priority is to improve controls, which are still quite clumsy.

According to the developers, the hotfix will be released next week, and a full patch with finalized changes that were made — a little bit later. The exact release dates of the updates are unknown, since it directly depends on the speed of their certification by Sony.

In the meantime, the studio advises to check your settings of displays and TVs, as any parameter that adds its own antialiasing, post-processing, and other effects may adversely affect the control’s responsiveness. Some models may also have a “game mode” that can reduces latency.
